Chef Bio: James G Rhoads III, CEC AAC
James Rhoads is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, a Certified Executive Chef and member of The American Academy of Chefs, The American Culinary Federation, and a lifetime member of the elite Honorable Society of the Golden Toque, the highest acclaimed recognition a chef can receive in America.
Jim has been a restaurant owner and has varied work experience in hotels, restaurants, and private clubs for over 40 years. He was an adjunct professor at Schenectady County Community College and retired in June 2011 after seventeen years as Culinary Arts Instructor at Questar III Career and Technical School. He also served as a management consultant for the Tri-City ValleyCats during their home stand games at the Joe Bruno Stadium from 2005 to 2009.
Jim was a founding member of the Escoffier Society of Albany and has won numerous culinary competitions both locally and nationally. He was twice named chef of the year by the Capital District chapter of the American Culinary Federation and was awarded their lifetime achievement award in February 2011.
Linda T. Rhoads
Linda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Siena College and has over 25 years experience in healthcare finance combined with 13 years experience in event management.
Linda is responsible for all management functions for Chef’s Solutions and works with every client to plan, organize, and execute each event.
